Trainee patent attorney
Dick joined NLO in 2017.
Dick specialises in Physics, particularly in the field of semiconductors, mechanics, energy, nanotechnology and materials. He is (co) author of twelve scientific publications.
Dick graduated in Physics (BSc and MSc) and Mathematics (BSc) from Utrecht University and also studied at the University of Florida. After graduating in 2012, he embarked on his PhD research at Eindhoven University of Technology, completing it in 2016 with his thesis ‘Nanowire photonics for photovoltaics’. In the same year, he won the Young Speakers Contest at the annual congress of the Netherlands’ Physical Society (NNV).
