Venkatesh joined NLO in 2015



Venkatesh has multidisciplinary research and industry experience in semiconductor physics and technology, nanoscale science and technology, electronics, telecommunication and information technology. He has several publications in high impact scientific journals.



Venkatesh Seshan graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Electronics from the University of Mumbai in 2002. In 2006, after working in the telecommunication and information technology industry for over 3 years, Venkatesh went to Chalmers University of Technology (Sweden), obtaining a Master’s degree in Nanoscale Science and Technology in 2008. During his studies, Venkatesh carried out his thesis work on nanopatterning at DWI-RWTH University (Germany) and completed an internship at the Indian Institute of Technology (India). From 2009 - 2014, he worked as a PhD researcher on diamond material in the groups of Professor Ernst Sudhölter and Professor Herre van der Zant at Delft University of Technology (The Netherlands). For his PhD thesis, Venkatesh explored the chemical, electronic and mechanical properties of diamond material to elucidate their fundamental properties and to evaluate their commercial applicability in terms of processing.
