During my time as an in-house attorney, I actively participated in many activities relating to drug development and, as such, acquired a unique working experience in the scientific, regulatory and IP aspects of pharmaceutical development.
I joined NLO in 2016, coming from another European IP firm. Before working in private practice, I held positions as IP Director in an international pharmaceutical group and in biotech companies in the UK and in Switzerland.
I have a detailed understanding of pharmaceutical IP lifecycle management, from orienting R&D projects using IP landscaping through to patent enforcement, such as defending against generic challenges. I also assist clients in the in- and out-licensing of innovations and in multi jurisdictional IP tax planning.
