Fei Pei

Dutch patent attorney
I have been working at NLO since 2015 and I specialise in patents for computers and software, electrical engineering, telecommunications and nanotechnology. I’m flexible in working hours and like to help clients in urgent situations, such as drafting and filing a patent application just before a conference or exhibition.

Expertise

  • Computers/Software
  • Electrical Engineering
  • Physics
  • Telecommunications

I like to assist clients in their business strategies and optimizing the costs associated with protecting their intellectual property. Furthermore, I’m experienced in translating between Dutch, English and Chinese.

I graduated cum laude in Applied Physics (BSc and MSc) from University of Groningen, specializing in nanotechnology and materials science. This was followed by exchange programmes at Harvard University and the National Taiwan University and being awarded the Kamerlingh Onnes prize for the best MSc graduate. Between 2010 and 2014, I completed PhD research at Delft University of Technology, supervised by Professor Leo Kouwenhoven. My research contributed to the development of a quantum computer and to the discovery of the Majorana particles.

I like to assist clients in their business strategies and optimizing the costs associated with protecting their intellectual property.
