During my education, I had the opportunity to gain experience in both fronts, academic and industrial. I really enjoy the fascinating task of understanding each detail of an invention, in order to find the best way to protect the interests of the client.
Since I joined NLO, I have been experiencing a steep learning curve working in a highly experienced team, and getting intensive training. It is very motivating for me to work in such a diverse field dealing with different subjects on a daily basis.
I have conducted my PhD thesis in the Pharmaceutical Technology group at the LMU. During my project, on new vaccine formulations based on internally structured nanoparticles, I had the opportunity to gather experience with structural characterization techniques at the Technical University of Munich and with in-vitro and in-vivo studies at the University of Copenhagen, Denmark and at the Umeå University, Sweden.
I have authored and co-authored various scientific publications in international journals.
