I previously worked as a legal expert for a law firm that is specialised in intellectual property law and I am therefore fairly proficient in trademark and design law, copyright law, trade name law and domain name law. I also have a great deal of experience in writing final notice letters and drawing up contracts. However, before you write a final notice letter or, for example, draw up a license agreement, you go through a different process. This is why I will also be devoting a lot of my time at NLO to building up client IP portfolios (mainly trademarks and designs) by performing trademark and design searches and by providing advice during the registration process.
In this way, I will be advising the client from the get-go – from the moment they approach NLO with their trademark or design. I am passionate about providing solutions and advice for clients that are not just legally accurate, but have been customised to reflect the client’s needs and requirements.
