Associate partner & Belgian and European patent attorney
I am a European and Belgian patent attorney with over 15 years experience in the field. I joined NLO on 1 March 2017 and am still pleased with this choice.

I enjoy developing the best possible protection strategy for my clients’ inventions. For this, I can draw on my wide-ranging experience in avoiding and solving conflicts both in Europe and in other parts of the world. From a technology perspective, my experience is primarily in – but certainly not limited to – electronics, mechanical engineering, telecommunications and computer-implemented inventions.

I enjoy developing the best possible protection strategy for my clients’ inventions.

My clients appreciate my creativity and the way I can help them to describe an invention as effectively as possible and in all its variants. In doing so I am quick to spot opportunities for making additional use of other intellectual property rights, including, for example, opportunities to register designs and contractual agreements to protect company secrets. I also enjoy thinking up ways to valorise intellectual property rights.
