After you have applied, using the application button on our website or have sent us your letter and CV by e-mail, you can expect to receive a reply from us within a week. Unless otherwise stated in the vacancy.
The first round involves two interviews. Your first interview will be with the recruiter. During this interview you receive general information about our organisation and you can discuss your skills and motivation for this position.
You will then have an interview with your future team leader and an associated partner. During this interview, you receive information about the team and focus on the specific skills and knowledge required to become a patent attorney.
Once you have successfully passed the first round you will be invited to an interview with a team leader of another team and afterwards you will speak with a trainee patent attorney. From their recent experience, the trainee patent attorney gives you an outline about the training, the study/work/life balance and what you can expect from NLO. The aim is to give you a clearer and more realistic impression of the job and to answer any questions so that you know what lies ahead for a trainee patent attorney.
This final round consists of a development assessment. This assessment addresses your motivation and development needs and includes a capacity test, personality questionnaire and a business case. If you join NLO, this assessment will also be part of the training cycle.
If you and NLO are still enthusiastic after three rounds of interviews, we will make you an offer to join us at NLO.
Do you have any questions about the procedure? Please contact our recruiter, Astrid van Doorn on 070 33 12 643 or at firstname.lastname@example.org
