I used to be responsible for supporting all IP business activities. This included internal support for both the patent and legal departments, business development, customer relationship management, renewal, monitoring, validation, technical translators and illustrators.
I worked at NLO since 1985. I have a business background and contribute more than 30 years of experience in IP business administration in the private sector.
I enjoyed stimulating new IP developments within NLO and co-founded the NLO office in Ghent. I also worked closely with IP authorities, including the European Patent Office, the Netherlands Patent Office, the Belgian Intellectual Property Office and the Benelux Intellectual Property Office.
I am co-founder and board member of the Platform Formalities Officers, a platform for administrative professionals working in the field of Intellectual Property, where I was responsible for training and examinations.
