Sarah Kerob

Trademark and Design attorney
At NLO, I advise clients operating globally in various industries. My daily work includes providing strategic advice on trademark and design protection, enforcing intellectual property rights, handling oppositions and cancellations, and working to improve online trademark protection.

Expertise

  • Trademark law
  • Design law
  • Recordals
  • Oppositions

I studied French law and English law. I specialised in civil law in France before completing bar school in Versailles in 2023. Before joining NLO, I worked at several intellectual property law firms in Paris and at a large multinational active in the food and beverage industry.

My goal is to advise clients in a comprehensive but pragmatic and straightforward manner

Representing clients operating worldwide, my work involves managing portfolios in many countries, each with its own laws and policies. My goal is to advise clients in a comprehensive but pragmatic and straightforward manner, taking into account all circumstances and enabling the client to fine-tune the recommended next steps.

A large part of my practice involves online brand protection, a topic that has become hugely important in recent years and is still going strong. This activity is challenging but rewarding, and I always make sure to find ways to tackle a new online infringement problem.

In my spare time, I often learn a new language (Dutch at the moment), knit scarves and gloves for birthdays, surf in summer and go climbing in winter.
