Hans Jongste joined NLO in 2000. Previously, he worked as a post doctoral researcher at Delft University of Technology in the field of manufacturing technology for semiconductor devices (1995-1998). From 1998 to 2000, he was a scientist at the Netherlands Institute of Materials Research (NIMR) specialising in thin film research.
Hans specialises in physics, micro-electronics, materials science, software and mechanics. He works for multinational companies in the micro-electronics industry, software technology companies and research institutes in the field of science and technology.
Hans holds an MSc in Metallurgy from Delft University of Technology (Netherlands, 1987) and a PhD in Applied Sciences from the Faculty of Applied Physics at the same university (1994).
