Trainee patent attorney
I am an NLO trainee patent attorney. My work mainly involves helping clients with patents relating to telecommunications, electronics and software. Thanks to my educational background in mathematics and theoretical physics and my research experience, I have in-depth knowledge of telecommunications, electronics and software. And by training as a patent attorney I am now learning about the legal aspects of patents.

After a Master’s in mathematics and theoretical physics I worked as a PhD candidate at CWI (the national research institute for mathematics and computer science in the Netherlands), where I researched data assimilation algorithms. This research enabled me to gain knowledge and experience of fields such as software, statistics, machine learning, data and numerical solution methods for differential equations.
