It was clear from an early stage that my passion was chemistry. Having worked in academia for approximately 6 years, I decided to embark on a new career as a patent attorney – which seemed like the perfect choice given my interest in law and my scientific background. I haven’t looked back since.
My ability to shift easily between research fields allows me to rapidly grasp innovative ideas. Having worked in multidisciplinary teams during my PhD and postdoc which included (geo)chemists and geologists, I am keenly equipped to navigate different stakeholder interests. Furthermore, my experience living in several countries (in Europe and Canada) gives me a unique insight on client interaction.
In my spare time I enjoy following sports and visiting art galleries (mostly expressionist and impressionist exhibitions).
