Embarking on my role as a trainee patent attorney at NLO in biotechnology and life sciences, I bring specialised knowledge acquired during my academic journey in neuroscience, proteomics, and mass spectrometry. My unique perspective, integrating hands-on research experience with legal insights, enables me to communicate effectively with clients and translate their innovations into protected assets.

I joined NLO in 2024, after completing a Ph.D. in neuroscience at the Vrije Universiteit in Amsterdam. During my Ph.D., I specialised in proteomics and mass spectrometry research for neurodegenerative diseases and neuroinflammation. I have extensive experience working with protein-protein interaction, post-translational modifications, exosomes, small drug mimetic molecules, and potential biomarkers. 

Driven by a passion for innovation and cutting-edge progress, I approach every client’s intellectual property journey with a positive mindset. I am dedicated to supporting clients comprehensively, from understanding their unique needs to safeguarding their inventions.
