Trainee patent attorney
I am a trainee patent attorney at NLO specialising in mechanics, structural analysis, telecommunications, electronics and electrical engineering, and software. My technical background allows me to provide my clients with an analytical and methodical approach to problem solving and to achieve the best possible results tailored to their needs and interests. I help clients by guiding them through the legal aspects of the patent process, which may seem overwhelming and complex to those who are not familiar with the procedure.

I joined NLO in 2021, not long after receiving an MSc in Mechanical engineering from Ege University in Turkey. During my studies, I specialised in the fatigue analysis of structures that are exposed to dynamic forces, using Finite Element Methods. Turkey’s Ministry of Industry and Technology approved my graduate project as an incentive project and it was also used for R&D by a leading R&D centre in Turkey.

Prior to joining NLO, I gained professional experience in drafting patent applications to be filed with the EPO and the USPTO, planning and execution of FTO searches related to client inventions and preparing detailed FTO reports for clients.
