Before joining NLO, I completed an MSc in Industrial Chemistry and a PhD in Materials Science at the University of Parma in Italy. After my PhD, I took a position as a postdoctoral researcher at the National University of Ireland. During my academic research career, I focused on several organic materials: polymeric auxetic materials for my MSc, organic crystalline materials for my PhD, and protein-based crystalline materials for my postdoc. Having lived and worked in 3 different countries, I am at ease interacting with people from different backgrounds.
As a Patent Attorney, I specialise in the field of food chemistry, process chemistry, and material science. At NLO, I can use my scientific knowledge together with my legal expertise to create IP solutions that help clients protect their inventions in the best possible way.
