I have a good understanding of global IP and regulatory requirements for pharmaceuticals and biologics. I am experienced with the branded, as well as the generic side of the pharma business, which helps me in devising the best IP and life-cycle management strategies for my clients.
Before joining NLO, I worked with Sun Pharma for about eight years. I worked as an IP lead for managing global IP and life-cycle management of the branded drug portfolio. Alongside my role as pharma consultant at NLO, I am also preparing to become a qualified European and Chartered patent attorney.
I completed my M.Sc. in biomedical sciences at the University of Delhi and then a PhD in life sciences, focusing on molecular biology and enzyme kinetics of nuclease enzymes. My affinity towards reading and creative writing brought me to the field of IP. This journey has been amazing so far!
I’m at my best when I work in multidisciplinary fields, such as science, IP, regulatory, legal and commercial. My key expertise lies in creating commercially meaningful and robust long term IP strategies for pharmaceuticals and biologicals. I like interacting with people of diverse professional and cultural backgrounds, exploring new places and continuously learning to become a better version of myself with every passing day.
