My work consists of portfolio management and giving strategic advice about the availability and registrability of trademarks and designs, conflict mediation in infringement issues, conducting opposition and invalidity proceedings, and negotiating and drafting co-existence agreements. In doing so, I always strive to achieve an optimal balance between the legal, commercial and practical aspects.
My interest in Intellectual Property law developed in Beijing, where I lived and worked for a year. Furthermore, before joining NLO, I worked as a court clerk at the Court of Appeal in The Hague and at two international trademark companies, which gave me extensive work experience in intellectual property law.
Outside my work, you will often find me on the beach, and I love discovering new culinary hotspots. I also run regularly and do reformer pilates and yoga.
