Before joining NLO as a trainee patent attorney, I was a PhD student working at RadboudUMC in Nijmegen. During my PhD, I contributed to the development of new genetic therapies for inherited retinal degeneration. Since NLO helped me with writing patent applications, I experienced how it is to be one of NLO’s clients. This triggered my interest in IP law.
