My aim is to project myself into my clients’ world so that, together, we can create added value. And my experience is that being interested in each other produces better decisions. What I look for is duality: in other words, the specific feature that differentiates a client’s product in the market and that also has a high chance of being patented.
After graduating I spent six years working in R&D at Eaton Automotive. I specialise in precision technology and mechatronics, including sensor technology, actuators and embedded systems. My other interests include dredging technology, machine construction, offshore, vibration isolation and automotive technology, especially vehicle safety and driver assistance systems.
Away from work, I enjoy reading, listening to music and running. And probably the most essential non-essential in my life is making a good espresso.
Education
- MSc degree in Mechanical Engineering, Delft University of Technology (Netherlands, 1999), specialising in mechatronics
