Business Development in the 19th century: an add in the Dutch newspaper Algemeen Handelsblad of March 3, 1895, this week 122 years ago. 'Nederlandsch Octrooi-Bureau', at that time operating from the Keizersgracht in Amsterdam, offers to sell patents. NLO was almost 7 years old at the time and no patent law existed yet!
