A day out with NLO: going to Schiphol Airport in the fifties. With of course the mandatory group picture in front of a DC4 of KLM, the 'Overloon'. We know what happened with most of these employees, but what happenend with the Overloon?

Around 1952 the Overloon had a scheduled flight from Amsterdam to Sydney! After a career with KLM the plane was used by Dutch Carribean Airlines and after that by several South American airlines. Its life ended when Aerolineas Medellin took it apart for spare parts in the seventies or eighties. #TBTNLO
