#TBTNLO: the 'Merkenklapper'

In the nineties NLO distributed for some years the highly appreciated ‘Merkenklapper’ (trademark folder) to our clients. Trademark news collected by our trademark attorneys was put into short informative stories by Jonkheer (nobleman) Joan van der Wyck and ilustrated by Willemijn de Lint. Willemijn was also responsible for NLO’s lamp-logo and the series of Christmas cards depicting famous inventions by individuals with a great resemblance to NLO’s director, Leo de Bruijn. The biggest success was the chapter ‘En we noemen het’ (‘and we called it’) with the ‘do’s & don’t’s’ in picking a company name.
