Kyle Quinney

Trainee Patent Attorney
I am joining NLO in 2026 coming a biotechnology start-up. I graduated in 2019 with my PhD in cellular and molecular biology from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in the US. Shortly after that, I came to do a research postdoc at Utrecht University, followed by several years at a Dutch biotech start-up in the field of cellular agriculture where I really grew my interest in pursuing a career as a patent attorney. I have an extensive scientific background in protein-lipid biochemistry, genetic engineering, synthetic biology, microscopy, viruses and cellular agriculture. After having been an inventor myself on a handful of patents, I know that what motivates me the most is digging into and discussing new technologies and ideas.
