I completed my bachelor’s and master’s education in chemistry at the University of Warwick, where I built a broad foundation across organic, inorganic, physical, and analytical chemistry. During my degree, I spent one year in the Netherlands at a major materials science company developing biodegradable polymer alternatives, and six months at Nanyang Technological University in Singapore working on perovskite-based catalysts.
For my master’s project, I developed sustainable polymers through anionic polymerisation as potential alternatives to harmful chemicals used in personal care products. After graduating, I returned to industry as a scientist, working on sustainable polymers for agricultural applications, gaining experience in experimental design, project leadership, stakeholder management, and progressing technologies from feasibility towards launch.
These experiences shaped my interest in intellectual property and its role in supporting innovation. I aim to provide clear, strategic, and client-centred support in protecting chemical inventions.
