Social responsibility

NLO Acts
NLO works with companies that create the future with their innovations and change is happening right here on our work floor. We are a very diverse, equal opportunity employer - something we are very proud of! In 2020 we created NLO Acts - a platform for NLO staff to become more socially involved and to give back to local communities.

Our social mission

NLO is committed to be a place that encourages personal and professional growth, and that acts as a corporate citizen that helps communities thrive. By aligning our corporate social responsibility efforts with our core values, NLO strives to contribute to a sustainable society and we believe that we have a unique and personal responsibility to have a positive impact locally.

As part of our CSR practices we organise multiple initiatives focussed towards people. Specifically to support future generations and boost equal opportunities for everyone.

Projects

NLO Acts nlo acts Future Inventors 2024 School kids visited NLO and worked on an assignment to to design an invention in groups, with help of our colleagues. This invention, including a trademark and logo, was presented to the whole group afterwards. NLO Acts voorlesexpress Voedselbank Haaglanden In the spirit of giving, NLO Acts has successfully brightened the holiday season for teenagers aged 13-18 at Voedselbank Haaglanden by donating a total of 54 thoughtful gifts. NLO Acts de spelen De Spelen 2023 Wednesday, September 6, 330 children competed in 10 different sports during 'De Spelen' in Rotterdam. NLO helped out with 14 volunteers. NLO Acts volunteer Partnership NL Cares With NLCares we have found a partner who gives our employees the opportunity to engage in volunteer work in local communities.
